What is a New Jazz Hall?
Masahiko Togashi, Masayuki Takayanagi, Masahiko Sato, Motoharu Yoshizawa, Itaru Oki, MototeruTakagi and Yoshisaburou Toyozumi gathered for play. It was organized by Teruto Soejima's (critics/producer). New Jazz Hall (NJH) started at November 21, 1969.
That was warehouse for instruments at the 2nd floor of Pit Inn and changed as New Jazz Hall. Indeed it's "experimental place" and is the "place for" creating new jazz. It was "place for exchanging jazz world". This event will continue to 50 years anniversary at next year’s November.

Directions:
Come out of JR Shinjuku station East exit in front of Alta. Walk right down Shinjuku-dori, pass Mitsukoshi and Isetan department stores. Keep going until you get to the Shinjuku 2-chome intersection. Turn left here and you can find Pit Inn on the right in the basement of the Accord Building.
